Restcomm Client Android SDK Beta 2 is out!

We are proud to announce the second Beta release of Restcomm Client SDK for Android!

RestComm Client for Android allows you to leverage the telecommunication features of RestComm. It offers a simple yet efficient Java API that you can use to add rich communications capabilities to your Android Apps.

New Restcomm Client Android SDK features:

  • WebRTC video support. Here’s a screen shot from Restcomm Messenger for Android calling Restcomm Olympus and another one with text exchange between the two:

  • Implemented reachability to gracefully handle network interruptions
  • Messenger UI/UX improvements
  • Various stability fixes and enhancements (please refer to Changelog)
