Running Order For TADSummit Americas 2019 (15-16 Oct) At IIT Chicago

October 8, 2019 Alan Quayle

TADSummit Americas

TADSummit Americas 2019, is just one week away, on the 15-16 Oct. It runs in parallel with the IIT RTC Conference. I cover here the running order of events for those attending in-person and remotely. We stream the event live, just go the TADSummit Americas or TADSummit YouTube Channel to watch the live streams.

This is the first time we’ve run TADSummit in North America. We’ve just passed 200 registrations, which is great! You get access to both TADSummit and IIT RTC Conf for the price of one ($300 is the full price), use the code TSDISC to get $100 off the ticket price – Register here!

Over the weekend before TADSummit Americas, we’ll have TADHack Global, the largest telecom-focused hackathon with over 1000 registrants in 2019. You’ll be able to watch the action live from all the locations around the world at TADHack Global or the TADHack YouTube Channel. And on Monday we’ll be announcing the TADHack Global 2019 winners and reviewing the TADHack Location winners at around noon Central Time.

Thank you to TeleSign and Mio for sponsoring TADSummit Americas!

Things kick off on Monday 14th Oct for TADSummit Americas with a drinks reception from 4:30-6PM at The Bog, which is in Hermann Hall Lower Level. Here is a map of the IIT campus so you can find Hermann Hall, and the floor plans of Herman Hall Main Level and Lower Level (I also include the floor plans at the end of this weblog). Please note, all times here are US Central Time, that is Chicago time.

If you want to understand the latest thinking, ideas, opportunities and insights in programmable telecoms / communications before everyone else. TADSummit is the only place to be for 7 years running.  We also call the category CXTech (shorter, more catchy term). The C stands for Connectivity, Communications, Collaboration, Conversation, Customer; X for Experience because that’s what matters; and Tech because the focus is enablers. Check out the CXTech newsletters.

Examples of what falls into CXTech includes: Programable Telecoms / Communications, CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, open source telecom software, CPaaS enablers, Multi-Factor Authentication / Instant Authentication, Telecom APIs, WebRTC, Cloud Communications, CPaaS enabled services, omni-channel, telecom infrastructure as code, telecom service dashboards, the myriad of UIs making APIs and enablers and services useable beyond coders.

TADSummit is a small, independent, no-BS event (see our policy statement).  We’re proudly independent: you’ll not hear silliness about the API economy (check these thought-leading articles on “The Great API Con” and the coming “API Economy correction” to understand why); nor trite phrases like “digital transformation” or “video is the new voice”. Rather clear, thoughtful, common sense insight based on decades of experience to help you make decisions that are right for you, and not influenced by misinformation and silly industry framing.

If you can not make it to Chicago, we’ll be streaming the event live and recording the sessions. AND we have TADSummit EMEA in November. It’s quite a different agenda, we even have several people attending both TADSummits (beside me).
